Penn State forward Aiden Fink has taken the first step toward a potential professional career, agreeing to an amateur tryout with the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League, the top affiliate of the NHL’s Nashville Predators.
News of Fink’s agreement was announced in a press release.
Fink was selected No. 218 overall by the Predators in the 2023 NHL Draft. Despite battling injury early in his junior season, he still developed strong chemistry skating alongside Gavin McKenna.
The Calgary, Alberta native finished the 2025-26 season with 38 points (10 goals, 28 assists) in 30 games.
Fink led Penn State in scoring in both his freshman and sophomore seasons. During the 2024-25 campaign, he set a school record with 53 points (23 goals, 30 assists), becoming the first Nittany Lion to finish in the top 10 of Hobey Baker Award voting and earn unanimous All-Big Ten First Team honors.
Fink ranks first in program history in points per game at 1.19 and in power-play goals with 18.
His 125 career points are tied with Alex Limoges for third in program history. Earlier this season, Fink passed Limoges as the fastest Nittany Lion to reach 100 career points. He finished his Penn State career 15 points behind program leader Nate Sucese, who recorded 140 points from 2016-20.
