A box set honoring three Pittsburgh Penguins currently in their 20th season together on the ice is now available online.
“The Big Three Collection” honors Pittsburgh Penguins’ Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin and Kris Letang.
Each set features four handcrafted rocks glasses and coasters created in partnership with the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation. Three of the glasses are etched with one of the honored players’ numbers, with the fourth showcasing the team’s logo.
A portion of proceeds from the set will go to the foundation’s mission to improve the lives of children throughout the Western Pennsylvania region, according to a news release.
The collection was made by Wendell August Forge, America’s oldest and largest forge, the release states.
“This collection is about more than hockey—it’s about legacy, loyalty, and greatness sustained over time,” Christian Werner, owner and president of Wendell August Forge, stated. “Crosby, Malkin, and Letang have defined an era of excellence in Pittsburgh sports, and we are honored to commemorate their incredible journey with pieces that fans can treasure for years to come.”
The honored players’ 20th season marks the longest-tenured trio in North American professional sports history.
The limited release will be available at Wendell August Forge’s flagship store at the Grove City Premium Outlets.
“Every piece in this collection is made here in Pennsylvania by our skilled artisans,” Werner stated. “It reflects the same grit, precision, and pride that these players bring to the ice every game, while also giving fans an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in their community.”
The collection is available for purchase through Wendell August Forge’s website.
