The 32-year-old was attended to by the team’s medical staff and was eventually helped off the ice and into the locker room.

Joseph Woll took over in net for the Maple Leafs at the 2:34 mark of the opening frame.

After the game, head coach Craig Berube would not rule Stolarz out for the rest of the season, but said that he has to undergo medical testing.

Goaltender Artur Akhtyamov will make his NHL debut for the Leafs on Thursday against the New York Islanders.
