Winnipeg Jets News & Notes:
Winnipeg is in a final push scenario for its 2025-26 NHL season. A win tonight, and a favourable outta town scoreboard puts them into a possible one-point out scenario. A loss and a less-than-ideal outta town scoreboard could put them back five points, and possibly even be a season-ender. Must-win games are through the remainder of the year, but tonight is a big decider between two Central Division rivals.
St. Louis Blues Jackets News & Notes:
St. Louis is in the exact same scenario as Winnipeg, although they are two points behind the Jets. A win in regulation tonight, alongside a favourable outta town scoreboard, can put them back within three points. A loss puts them back seven points with a less-than-ideal outta town scoreboard.

Players To Watch:
Winnipeg Jets
Mark Scheifele is yet again my player to watch for the Winnipeg Jets. If he’s not contributing, Winnipeg doesn’t seem to have much scoring to supplement that loss. With Winnipeg’s current playoff push, it’ll be interesting to see how Scheifele performs tonight.
St. Louis Blues
Jordan Binnington will be St. Louis’ biggest asset tonight to get themselves into a final playoff push. If the Blues can pull out a big regulation win tonight, Binnington has to be front and centre of that.
