NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — The Nashville Predators front office presented changes coming to Bridgestone Arena as renovations are underway on Broadway.
Preds Chief Strategy Officer Kyle Clayton says “a team “couldn’t pick a better location for this building so obviously we want to take care of the asset that we have and also look into the future and continue to expand and (ask) how can we make it great?”
Let’s start with what fans and tourists will see from the plaza on the corner of Broadway and Rep. John Lewis Way:
-Renderings show extended cover over part of plaza
-Clayton says the levels to the right will be extended club space and 200,000 sq ft of restaurants and “light” retail.
-These changes will take shape next Summer.
On the Demonbreun Street side, x-ray renderings show upgraded fan entrances with escalators. That part of the project is underway now and set to be complete by opening day in the Fall, Clayton says.
Bridgestone Arena will be getting taller, too. Clayton showed us plans for a 400-600 room hotel included in the renovations.
