Good news for the Trois-Rivières Lions, the affiliate club of the Montreal Canadiens organization, as they welcome back one of their most dominant players.
The team confirmed the agreement.
Forward Anthony Beauregard will return for a fifth season in a Lions uniform.
The Quebec native has rewritten the organization’s record book.
His contribution over the years has been considerable.
Beauregard has established himself as an important figure for the Lions, and he has probably been the best player on the second affiliate team of the Montreal Canadiens.
The Saint-Damase native knows the league well.
The 30-year-old winger has built a lengthy career in professional hockey.
His most recent season was productive.
Beauregard recorded 53 points in 62 games with the Lions in 2025-26.

Beauregard has already spent time at higher levels.
He notably played a few games with the Laval Rocket in the American Hockey League.
His offensive talent at this level is well established.
During the 2024-25 season, he collected 67 points.
He also shined in the playoffs that year.
Beauregard recorded 18 points in 21 playoff games.

A Quebec-born player establishing himself as a cornerstone of his team within the Montreal Canadiens’ development system is a great story.
