Former NHLer Sean Avery was on Wednesday’s edition of ‘The JD Bunkis podcast’ where they broke down free agency. Avery, the always controversial career antagonist, called out the Leafs’ past over-spending in free agency for the ‘wrong players’.

Not one to produce a ridiculous amount in the regular season, Bennett thrives in the playoffs, tallying 48 points in 67 post-season games over the past three season, including a league-leading 13 goals so far in this post-season.
