Note: The Jets took the first day of the NHL season off after returning from Colorado Springs where they spent a few days working on team building. We did see them get down to their 23-man roster on Monday and it will be interesting to see if there are any changes before the first game of the regular season in a couple of days. For now they’ll hit the ice at hockey for all centre at 11 AM CT so check back for the first Practice Report of the regular season.
Note II: The Jets’ jersey schedule release usually doesn’t catch my attention, but Tuesday’s announcement raised a couple of questions. What will their new Heritage Classic jersey look like, and what might they have in store for the Hometown Remix uniform?
Note III: The Moose did take to the ice and there was quite a bit happening for the AHL club so be sure to check out our observations in this Day 9 of training camp report. Manitoba will practice today at hockey for all centre at 10:30 AM CT. If we can squeeze in double duty, we’ll also have a Day 10 report as they prepare for Saturday’s home opener.
