A legendary rock band took the stage together for the first time in nearly two decades last week.

And fans were more than pleased.

According to Blabbermouth.net, Canadian group Triumph delighted those at the Stanley Cup Final between the Edmonton Oilers and Florida Panthers in Edmonton, Alberta on Friday with a three-song reunion performance.

While Blabbermouth.net notes that bassist Mike Levine was notably absent from the show, people in attendance seem to have very much enjoyed the performance.

“They sound amazing,” reads a comment on a Facebook post of the band’s acoustics.

“This is awesome!” echoes someone else.

“Tell Big Bird to get out of the way!” writes another Facebook user, alluding to the random Sesame Street character who — for whatever reason — can be seen standing in the crowd in front of the stage.

UltimateClassicRock.com states how the last time Triumph — known for hits such as “Lay It On The Line” and “Hold On” — last gave the world a full-scale public performance in 2008.

The band also just released the “Magic Power: All-Star Tribute to Triumph” album, which features the trio’s most famous tunes as performed by other artists including Sebastian Bach and Nancy Wilson.

The Panthers, by the way, defeated the Oilers 6 to 1. The two teams now head into Game 4 of the series tomorrow at 8 p.m. (ET).
