The Fanatics Sportsbook promo code is similar to BetMGM’s in that the sportsbook returns bonus bets if your bets lose. NHL Stanley Cup Final Game 5 preview

This is about as tight as a major professional championship series can get through four games, with sportsbooks having razor-thin margins between these teams in both Game 5 and the series in general. Entering Game 5, the Oilers are a slight -115 favorite to win the series at BetMGM, but it’s essentially a coin flip with Florida at -110.

Three of the four contests have gone into overtime, with Florida’s dominant 6-1 win in Game 3 being the outlier. Add in Florida’s 3-0 early advantage in Game 4, and there was one point in the series where the Panthers had outscored the Oilers 9-1 and appeared to be well on their way to repeating. Edmonton rallied, however, to tie the game at 3-3 by the end of the second period in Game 4. The teams exchanged goals in the third, and it was Leon Draisaitl finding the net in overtime for the second time in the series that ultimately gave Edmonton the win.

Though Connor McDavid might be the bigger name for Edmonton, Draisaitl has the inside track for postseason MVP as he leads the Oilers with 11 goals. BetMGM lists Draisaitl at even money (+100) to score in Game 5, with McDavid at +140. The defending champions must find a way to win at least one game on the road if they want to repeat. That shouldn’t be daunting at all though since they are 9-3 on the road in the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs and have already won in Edmonton in this series.
