Buffalo Sabres color commentator Rob Ray didn’t let a puck to the face keep him from doing his job.

During Saturday evening’s Buffalo home game against the New York Rangers, Ray took a puck to the face and audibly let out an NSFW reaction as soon as it happened.

However, Ray shook it off and kept on broadcasting shortly after, showing off a nasty mark above one of his eyebrows where the puck hit him during the broadcast.

Being that close to the ice is no cakewalk for a broadcaster, and Ray knows as well as anybody how fast the pucks can fly after his NHL playing days.

Kudos to Ray for powering through a rough lick to the head from a puck. Once a tough hockey player, always a tough hockey player.

Some NSFW language to follow.
