Hockey fans have a new place to enjoy the sport all year long.The city of Pelham held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Tuesday for the NHL Street Hockey court.According to a social media post from the city, dozens of kids took to the court and enjoyed playing the street version of the sport.The Birmingham Bulls mascot Toro the Bull was also there to have fun with the young ones trying out their skills with hockey sticks.The Birmingham Bulls’ home ice is located at the Pelham Civic Complex and Ice Arena.The city said this is the second year of their street hockey league play.Your neighborhood: Local coverage from WVTM 13
