The Columbus Blue Jackets hold the 14th and 20th overall picks in the first round of the 2025 NHL Draft.The first round will air on ESPN and ESPN+ on June 27th at 7 p.m. ET, while rounds 2-7 will be on NHL Network and ESPN+ on June 28th at noon.The Blue Jackets are hosting a draft party at Nationwide Arena on June 27th.GM Don Waddell has stated the team’s two first-round picks are “still in play” as potential trade assets.

The Blue Jackets are almost on the clock. The NHL draft is June 27-28 in Los Angeles with selections being made remotely in all 32 of the league’s markets.

Don Waddell, the Blue Jackets’ president of hockey operations/general manager, has two picks in the first round that he’s said are “still in play” as trade chips, plus five more picks in rounds 2-7 on the draft’s second day.

The Jackets are slated to pick 14th and 20th overall in the first draft since 2020 in which they haven’t had a top-10 selection. Here’s how to watch:

Viewers can watch the first round on ESPN and ESPN+ starting at 7 p.m. ET on June 27. The second through seventh rounds will be shown on NHL Network and ESPN+ starting at noon June 28.

Locally, the Blue Jackets are hosting a draft party June 27 at Nationwide Arena for fans who’d like to congregate to watch the first round. The Front Street entrance will be the lone access point for entry starting at 5:30 p.m.

The Blue Jackets have two picks in the first round (14th and 20th overall) plus picks in the third round (77th overall), fourth round (109th overall), sixth round (173rd overall) and seventh round (205th and 218th overall).
