\t\t\t\t\tThere has been a lot of talks recently about Boston Bruins goaltender Joonas Korpisalo<\/a> requesting a trade out of Boston, and now his agent has confirmed it to the media in a recent statement.<\/p>\n What made many believe that Joonas Korpisalo wants out of Boston is because he ended up calling out the organization at the end of the year.<\/p>\n Korpisalo was not happy with his playing time during the 2024-25 season with the Bruins, and it’s led to a lot of trade speculation ever since.<\/p>\n Korpisalo did not request a trade out of Boston<\/p>\n \u00abThere is no truth to that,\u00bb said agent Markus Lehto, adding that Korpisalo \u00abloves it in Boston,\u00bb as transcribed by James Murphy of RG.org.<\/p>\n DiPietro had a standout season with the Providence Bruins posting a .927 save percentage, along with a 2.05 goals against average, and earned him self the AHL goaltender of the year.<\/p>\n Despite his frustration with the Boston Bruins organization, Korpisalo’s agent confirmed that he has not requested a trade.<\/p>\n Korpisalo<\/a> still has three years left on his $3 million deal, that includes a 10-team no-trade clause.<\/p>\n He appeared in 27 games last season with the Boston Bruins having a .893 SV% and three shutouts.<\/p>\n It’s unclear what route the Boston Bruins are going to go with their goaltending situation, but for the time being, Korpisalo is still a Boston Bruin.<\/p>\n Previously on Bruins Insider<\/p>\n POLL<\/p>\n 1 HOUR AGO\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0|\u00a0\u00a0\u00a031 ANSWERS<\/p>\n Boston Bruins goaltender requested a trade?
