In the midst of an extremely busy offseason for Vancouver alumni, another former Canucks center has officially been hired by Western Conference Rival, the Seattle Kraken in a new big position.<\/p>\n

Although the Vancouver Canucks themselves have not had the most successful offseason when it comes to finding the upgraded free-agents\/trade targets they were hoping for, the same fate has not reached many of their former players.<\/p>\n

“The Kelowna Rockets are proud to announce the hiring of former NHL forward and Rockets alumnus Brandon McMillan as an Assistant Coach ahead of the 2025-26 Season.” the team said on X.<\/p>\n

Former Vancouver Canucks Center Hired by the Seattle Kraken<\/p>\n

Dalpe, who had a very short tenure with the Canucks, only playing one season back in 2013-14, has been given a major opportunity to Kraken next season as a player development consultant. Dalpe played 168 games in the NHL, with the majority of those games coming in Vancouver.<\/p>\n

The #SeaKraken have hired Zac Dalpe<\/a> as a player development consultant and Adam Purner as video analyst.<\/p>\n

Although, Dalpe had som pretty memorable moments with the Canucks.<\/p>\n

He scored a goal and an assist on January 26, 2014, against the Phoenix Coyotes, while scoring on the powerplay against the Dallas Stars on March 6, 2014.<\/p>\n
