The Nov. 13 event at Ball Arena is scheduled to include special jerseys for fans. The jersey features a custom seal that combines the Denver NHL team\u2019s logo with stylized imagery inspired by Yarros\u2019 book cover for \u201cFourth Wing.\u201d A special Avalanche Edition of \u201cFourth Wing,\u201d sporting a maroon cover and the same seal, will also be part of the package, Yarros said in an Aug. 18 Facebook video<\/a>.<\/p>\n The VIP package includes a book signing with Yarros, \u201calong with some other fun things,\u201d she said in the video. \u201cAs a Colorado girl, this is really a dream come true.\u201d<\/p>\n A portion of each package (and her royalties from the Avalanche Edition) will be given to benefit The Ehlers-Danlos Society, which supports people diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos syndromes that cause tissue disorders. Yarros herself was diagnosed with hypermobile EDS in her early twenties.<\/p>\n A self-described hockey mom who\u2019s based in Colorado Springs, Yarros has spent dozens of months atop New York Times best-sellers lists<\/a> with titles from her Empyrean series, such as \u201cFourth Wing,\u201d<\/a> \u201cOnyx Storm,\u201d and \u201cIron Flame.\u201d As the leading voice in the romantasy (romance + fantasy) literary genre, her author events and public speaking engagements<\/a> draw thousands of fans who often line up many hours in advance.<\/p>\n That seemed to be the case before tickets to the Fourth Wing night went on sale Aug. 19<\/a> via Ticketmaster. Resale seats are currently available<\/a> for prices ranging from $64 to $453.15.<\/p>\n The Nov. 13 game against the Buffalo Sabers has a precedent in Boston, where the Boston Red Sox are planning a Fourth Wing Night on Sept. 3 during a game against the Cleveland Guardians. That event includes a \u201climited-edition Fourth Wing and Red Sox replica flight jacket,\u201d according to MLB.com<\/a>, with Yarros in attendance.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m always humbled by the enthusiasm of Empyrean readers,\u201d she said in her Colorado Avalanche-related statement, \u201cbut we never expected the interest to be quite so high. \u2026 For those who weren\u2019t able to get one, don\u2019t despair: we will do this again next year with more tickets available!\u201d<\/p>\n Ball Arena has a seating capacity of 18,007 for Avs games, according to owner Kroenke Sports Entertainmen<\/a>t, versus 19,099 for Denver Nuggets basketball games and varying amounts for concerts and other events.<\/p>\n Yarros is also scheduled to make a public appearance on Sept. 6 in Denver when she is inducted into the Colorado Authors\u2019 Hall of Fame<\/a>.<\/p>\n
