Up next: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eliteprospects.com\/player\/564977\/koehn-ziemmer\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Koehn Ziemmer<\/a>!<\/p>\n<p>Koehn Ziemmer<\/p>\n<p>Birthdate: December 8, 2004<\/p>\n<p>Birthplace: Mayerthorpe, Alberta<\/p>\n<p>Height: 6\u20191<\/p>\n<p>Weight: 201 lbs<\/p>\n<p>Position: Right wing<\/p>\n<p>Shoots: Right<\/p>\n<p>Draft: 3rd round, 78th overall, 2023 NHL Entry Draft<\/p>\n<p>2024-25 season<\/p>\n<p>Koehn Ziemmer was eligible to play in the AHL last year, but the Kings opted to loan him back to the WHL for his final junior season. After missing 0f 2023-24 with an ankle injury and the need to work on his skating, it made sense for him to get back to speed in the WHL. In his final season with the Prince George Cougars, Ziemmer led the team in goals with 37 and posted 71 points in 61 games.<\/p>\n<p>Known for his goal-scoring prowess, Ziemmer was also fifth on the team in assists (34) and was often used as a second-line centerman, winning 52.1% of his faceoffs. He is the Kings\u2019 second-best forward prospect in the system behind Liam Greentree and is an interesting prospect. He\u2019s got a big body frame with a wicked release and shot deception, and isn\u2019t afraid to play with bite.
