\t\t\t\t\tIn a game between the Montreal Canadiens and the Ottawa Senators, Martin St-Louis exploded after Nick Cousins<\/a>‘ dirty hit on Ivan Demidov<\/a>, he didn’t mince his words.<\/p>\n The Videotron Centre saw a very emotional game last night, including many great plays from the Canadiens.<\/p>\n The young Russian forward suddenly left the game after the dirty play.<\/p>\n Martin St-Louis condemns the action and strongly defends Ivan Demidov<\/p>\n At the press conference, Martin St-Louis didn’t hesitate for a single second to denounce this kind of action, especially in a simple preseason game.<\/p>\n “There’s no need for that. It’s an exhibition game, both teams are trying to get ready for a long season. I don’t think there’s any need for that in the game.”<\/p>\n – Martin St-Louis<\/p>\n A young player like Demidov, who is seen as a cornerstone of the Canadiens’ future, shouldn’t have to fear that kind of hit when he doesn’t even have the puck.<\/p>\n I have to admit I’m very, very frustrated with Cousins.
