Right before the start of the new season, the St. Louis Blues have decided to put newly signed goaltender Georgi Romanov on waivers, where he’ll have 24 hours to clear.<\/p>\n
The St. Louis Blues appear to be set with the goaltending duo of Jordan Binnington<\/a> and Joel Hofer<\/a>, but they also decided to add some depth at the position by signing goaltender Georgi Romanov to a 1 year deal.<\/p>\n But first, they are placing him on waivers, and he’ll have 24 hours to clear or be otherwise claimed or sent to the American Hockey League.<\/p>\n Romanov is now the 4th goaltender in the last few days to be placed on waivers, with the others being Alexandar Georgiev with the Buffalo Sabres, Ville Husso<\/a> with the Anaheim Ducks and Brandon Bussi<\/a> with the Florida Panthers.
