title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/player\/ian-cole\/8474013\" target=\"_blank\">Ian Cole<\/a> $2,500 each for infractions on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Vancouver\u2019s Tyler Myers class=\"c-paragraph\">Myers\u2019 incident happened in the third period of the Canuck\u2019s 3-1 loss to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/team-page\/edmonton-oilers\/22\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/team-page\/edmonton-oilers\/22\" target=\"_blank\">Edmonton Oilers<\/a> when he slashed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/team-page\/edmonton-oilers\/22\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/team-page\/edmonton-oilers\/22\" target=\"_blank\">Edmonton Oilers<\/a> captain <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/player\/connor-mcdavid\/8478402\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/player\/connor-mcdavid\/8478402\" target=\"_blank\">Connor McDavid<\/a> in the groin area after he was called for a delay of game penalty.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The 6-foot-8 right-shot defenceman was not additionally penalized for the play.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Myers has appeared in both of the Canucks\u2019 games this season, and has two shots and two penalty minutes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The 35-year-old blueliner recorded six goals and 24 points in 71 games last season while averaging 20:48 of ice time.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Cole\u2019s incident took place in the second period in Utah\u2019s 3-2 overtime win over the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/team-page\/nashville-predators\/18\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/team-page\/nashville-predators\/18\" target=\"_blank\">Nashville Predators<\/a> after he tripped Predators forward <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/player\/steven-stamkos\/8474564\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/player\/steven-stamkos\/8474564\" target=\"_blank\">Steven Stamkos<\/a> from behind.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Utah\u2019s Ian Cole has been fined $2,500 for a dangerous trip against Nashville\u2019s Steven Stamkos.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 NHL Player Safety (@NHLPlayerSafety) <a 36-year-old was given a two-minute minor for tripping while Stamkos was also handed a two-minute minor for high-sticking Cole.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Cole has a plus-1 rating in two games with the Mammoth this season, recording a shot.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The 6-foot-1 left-shot defenceman signed a one-year contract with the club in March after registering a goal and 17 points in
