He\u2019ll be eligible for restricted free agency next summer if he finishes the season on that deal.<\/p>\n<p>10:27 am: The Mavericks are converting <a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/c\/cissemo01.html?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=www.hoopsrumors.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-10-18_bbr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Moussa Cisse<\/a>\u2018s Exhibit 10 contract into a two-way deal, Michael Scotto of HoopsHype <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/MikeAScotto\/status\/1979565542299038048\" rel=\"nofollow\">tweets<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Cisse <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hoopsrumors.com\/2025\/07\/mavericks-sign-matthew-cleveland-moussa-cisse.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">was signed<\/a> in early July after going undrafted and obviously made a strong enough impression to earn a promotion.<\/p>\n<p>The 6\u201911\u201d Cisse will add a shot-blocking presence for the Mavericks, though he\u2019ll likely spend a lot of time in the G League this season. The big man appeared in three preseason games and rejected seven shot attempts in 34 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Cisse started and ended his college career at Memphis, sandwiching stints with Oklahoma State and Ole Miss. The Guinean center blocked 1.7 shots per game in 150 career college contests despite averaging fewer than 20 minutes per game.<\/p>\n<p>The addition of Cisse will round out the team\u2019s two-way slots.
