In the district playoffs, they handled Ridley, 7-0, and Garnet Valley, 8-1.<\/p>\n<p>Methacton, the Pioneer Athletic Conference champs, beat North Penn, 6-1, and Souderton, 3-1. Roberts, 3-0, in the quarterfinals.<\/p>\n<p>Abington and Springfield met during the regular season in September. In districts, the Titans beat Haverford, 6-3, Pennsbury, 2-1 and CB East, 1-0.<\/p>\n<p>Downingtown West is 16-1-3. After a first-round bye, the Whippets beat Marple Newtown, 5-0, and Conestoga, 1-0.<\/p>\n<p>The winner will face the winner of No. 1 Pennridge and No. 5 Lower Merion in the championship Saturday at Haverford at 1 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Springfield Township vs. Villa Joseph Marie &gt;&gt; The third-seeded Spartans face the top-seeded Jems in the District 1-2A championship at Hatboro-Horsham Tuesday night at 7 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Springfield Montco defeated Merion Mercy Academy, 3-0, in the semifinals while Villa Joe beat Pope John Paul II, 2-0.<\/p>\n<p>The Spartans have only allowed one goal through six games going back to Sept. 30.<\/p>\n<p>The winner advances to the state playoffs while the loser\u2019s season is over.<\/p>\n<p>Dock Mennonite Academy vs. Faith Christian Academy &gt;&gt; The top-seeded Pioneers face the second-seeded Lions in the District 1-1A championship game at Norristown Tuesday evening at 5 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>These teams have met in the District 1-1A championship game every year since 2021. Faith Christian Academy won in 2021, 2-1, before Dock rattled off three straight wins \u2013 2-1 in 2022, 3-0 in 2023 and 3-1 in 2024. In the regular season this year, the teams tied, 1-1, on Oct. 6.<\/p>\n<p>Dock handled Calvary Christian, 7-0, in the semifinals while Faith defeated Delco Christian in penalty kicks, 4-3, after 100 scoreless minutes.<\/p>\n<p>The winner will advance to the state playoffs while the loser\u2019s season comes to an end.<\/p>\n<p>Girls Volleyball<\/p>\n<p>Pope John Paul II vs. West Chester Rustin &gt;&gt; The top-seeded Golden Panthers will face the second-seeded Golden Knights in the District 1-3A championship game Thursday at 5 p.m. at Harriton High School.<\/p>\n<p>Pope John Paul II is looking for its seventh straight District 1-3A title. Last year, it defeated Rustin, 3-0, in the semifinals.<\/p>\n<p>PJP has three losses this year, all against Spring-Ford, which is still competing for the Class-4A district title.
