We got killed and I hated it,\u201d Garlin said<\/a>, hamming it up for the amusement of the assembled press.\u00a0<\/p>\n Moritz started to answer the question when it appeared to dawn on Garlin that the Red Wings had lost in OT.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cAh, no good, so tonight felt good,\u201d he added.\u00a0<\/p>\n Sunday night\u2019s game at MSG ended with a benches-clearing brawl <\/a>after Red Wings forward Mason Appleton sent the puck into the Rangers\u2019 empty net following the final buzzer, which Blueshirts goalie Jonathan Quick did not appreciate and he went after the Detroit player.\u00a0<\/p>\n Quickly, both benches were out on the ice.<\/p>\n Jeff Garlin, the comedian from Curb Your Enthusiasm, was in the #LGRW<\/a> locker room after the game.<\/p>\n So, I asked him and Mo Seider about what happened at the end:<\/p>\n \u201cCan I tell you something? I was trying to get over the glass to join the scrum,\u201d Garlin said next to a smirking Seider. \u201cI\u2019m a scrummer. I\u2019ve been scrumming\u2026.how long you been scrumming for?\u201d<\/p>\n After Seider told the comedian he had been \u201cscrumming\u201d for a \u201ccouple years,\u201d Garlin exclaimed, \u201cI\u2019ve been scrumming before you were born. I\u2019m a scrummer.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n Garlin had been at the game as a guest of the Rangers \u2013 and has been at MSG in Rangers gear<\/a> in the past \u2013 however, he is a friend of Red Wings broadcaster Ken Daniels, according to NHL.com\u2019s Dan Rosen.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n Garlin had walked into the Red Wings locker room wearing a Rangers hat, but was given a Red Wings hat from the team staff.\u00a0<\/p>\n He had appeared on a Red Wings TV broadcast last December.\u00a0<\/p>\n Garlin is best known for playing Jeff Greene on \u201cCurb Your Enthusiasm\u201d and Murray Goldberg on \u201cThe Goldbergs.\u201d<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t![\"Jeff](\"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nhl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/jeff-garlin-attends-vertical-hosts-115301641.jpg\")
