This in from Tony Brar of Oilers TV, news that two key Edmonton Oilers<\/a> forwards Jack Roslovic and Kasperi Kapanen are out for a few weeks.<\/p>\n

Tony Brar of Oilers TV reports: \u201cRoslovic will be \u201ca couple of weeks.\u201d Knoblauch is not anticipating his return anytime soon. Kapanen \u201cmay be several weeks.\u201d Team is waiting for more information on his injury. Walman will not play Saturday. Skated again this morning \u2014 possibility to return next week. Knoblauch did not reveal his starter for Saturday.\u201d<\/p>\n

And the Edmonton Journal\u2019s Jim Matheson reports: \u201cKnoblauch says Roslovic has no broken bones where he was hit with Dallas shot Tuesday but still out several weeks. Ten goals and 18 points in 23 games. Needless to say, they need him on the ice.\u201d<\/p>\n

1. Roslovic has 10 goals and 17 points in his last 16 games. He\u2019s Edmonton second best two-way winger. Kapanen is a fount of energy and forechecking. Just when Edmonton looked ready to have a fully healthy roster, the team faces this new challenge.<\/p>\n

2. The good news is that Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, at least, is back in the line-up. He\u2019s a critical player on the Oilers, a smart and responsible defensive player on a team where too many top teams are either not smart or responsible enough on defence right now.<\/p>\n
