When I watched Kent forward Jack Broderick tally the game-tying and (eventual) game-winning goal against then-No. 1 Dexter Southfield on Saturday, I knew we were in for a top-five shake-up.<\/p>\n

So here we go.<\/p>\n

Our first in-season rankings are here. No team in the top five is where they were in our preseason rankings. That’s largely due to Kent, but it’s still notable.<\/p>\n

The bottom five teams didn’t change all that much, although a new team joined the fray, as well as another new team in the “In the hunt” section.<\/p>\n

There weren’t many teams in the Next 15<\/a> who had compelling cases for the top 10. That will likely change in the next few weeks, especially once the holiday tournaments arrive.<\/p>\n
