In Pittsburgh on Thursday night, the opening faceoff was delayed by 30 minutes due to an accident.<\/p>\n

The game between the Montreal Canadiens and the Pittsburgh Penguins was supposed to start at 7:00 p.m., then it was pushed back to 7:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

We’re talking about a truck carrying a large load of steel, with a figure circulating of 46,000 pounds, or about 20 tons. The important news is that no injuries were reported despite the impressive images. Let’s just say it’s the kind of delay you accept without complaining.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the matchup already had a special flavor on the ice. The Penguins had a record of 14-7-7 for 35 points, and the Canadiens arrived with a 15-11-3 record for 33 points.<\/p>\n

Both clubs were scoring 3.14 goals per game, but the gap was clear on defense, with 2.71 goals against per game for Pittsburgh and 3.55 for Montreal.<\/p>\n

The rookie goaltender was also drawing attention because it was his first game in the National Hockey League.
