{"id":365524,"date":"2025-12-20T05:18:04","date_gmt":"2025-12-20T05:18:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nhl\/365524\/"},"modified":"2025-12-20T05:18:04","modified_gmt":"2025-12-20T05:18:04","slug":"columbus-blue-jackets-acquire-mason-marchment-from-seattle-kraken-for-draft-picks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nhl\/365524\/","title":{"rendered":"Columbus Blue Jackets acquire Mason Marchment from Seattle Kraken for draft picks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/team-page\/columbus-blue-jackets\/29\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/team-page\/columbus-blue-jackets\/29\" target=\"_blank\">Columbus Blue Jackets<\/a> have acquired forward <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/player\/mason-marchment\/8478975\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/player\/mason-marchment\/8478975\" target=\"_blank\">Mason Marchment<\/a> from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/team-page\/seattle-kraken\/55\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/team-page\/seattle-kraken\/55\" target=\"_blank\">Seattle Kraken<\/a> in exchange for a 2026 fourth-round pick and a 2027 second-round pick, according to TSN Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Marchment, 30, had four goals and 13 points in 29 games this season with the Kraken. His stint with Seattle was short, as Marchment was acquired by the club from the Dallas Stars on June 19 in exchange for two draft picks. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">An undrafted free agent, Marchment inked a two-year, entry-level contract with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/team-page\/toronto-maple-leafs\/10\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/team-page\/toronto-maple-leafs\/10\" target=\"_blank\">Toronto Maple Leafs<\/a> in March of 2018.
