The Buffalo Sabres<\/a>‘ legendary goaltender, Ryan Miller, dropped a fun idea on social media this week.<\/p>\n

Miller has been watching what Philip Rivers has done, coming back to play QB for the NFL’s Indianapolis Colts at age 44 after five years retired.<\/p>\n

Miller said hey, why not me?<\/p>\n

This is what Miller posted on X:<\/p>\n

Miller is 45 years old.<\/p>\n

He entered the NHL as a fifth-round pick by Buffalo in 1999 out of Michigan State.<\/p>\n

He spent 11 of his 18 NHL seasons with Buffalo.<\/p>\n

With the Sabres, Miller had 284 wins. In his total career, it was 391 NHL wins for Miller.<\/p>\n

He had a career save percentage of 91.4 and a goals against average of 2.64.<\/p>\n

After Buffalo, he played for the Blues, the Canucks and the Ducks.<\/p>\n

His last season was 2020-21 with Anaheim, when he played in 16 games.<\/p>\n

Teams could always use another solid goalie. It’s not clear that Miller actually wants to come back, but if he did, hockey fans would gladly welcome him.<\/p>\n
