Flyers\u2019 prospects had a strong showing on the opening day (December 26, 2025) of the 2026 IIHF World Junior Championship. The Flyers have six prospects across four teams, and four of them contributed points in their respective games:<\/p>\n

Porter Martone (Canada, Captain): Scored one goal (including an empty-netter) in Canada\u2019s 7-5 win over Czechia. He had five shots on goal and finished +1.
\nJack Berglund (Sweden, Captain): One assist in Sweden\u2019s game (Sweden opened with a win, though exact opponent score not detailed in reports).
\nHeikki Ruohonen (Finland, Alternate Captain): One assist in Finland\u2019s contest.
\nMax Westerg\u00e5rd (Finland): One assist (notably set up a goal early in Finland\u2019s game).<\/p>\n
