Two Rangers will don the red, white and blue at the Olympics in less than six weeks.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Blueshirts Captain J.T. Miller and alternate captain Vincent Trocheck were officially named to the U.S. Olympic men\u2019s hockey team<\/a> Friday morning.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Both skaters were part of Team USA\u2019s lineup at the NHL\u2019s 4 Nations Faceoff last season.\u00a0<\/p>\n

This will be the first Olympic appearance for the two Rangers, who grew up and played youth hockey together in the Pittsburgh area.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Miller and Trocheck get to join head coach Mike Sullivan, assistant coach David Quinn and general manager Chris Drury \u2014 members of Team USA\u2019s coaching staff and management \u2014 in Milan, Italy.\u00a0<\/p>\n

One notable American who was left off the Olympic roster was Adam Fox<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Rangers No. 1 defenseman was one of the first six players named to Team USA\u2019s 4 Nations roster, but did not make the cut this time around.<\/p>\n

Urho Vaakanainen did not make Team Finland\u2019s Olympic roster, either.<\/p>\n
