The Minnesota Wild<\/a> goalie tandem of rookie Jesper Wallstedt<\/a> and Filip Gustavsson<\/a> will remain intact for Team Sweden at the 2026 Olympics. <\/p>\n

The two will joined in net by New Jersey Devils<\/a> netminder Jacob Markstrom<\/a> as the Sweden revealed its full 25-player Olympic roster on Friday. Ottawa Senators<\/a> goaltender Linus Ullmark<\/a> was not included on the team after being on the country\u2019s 4 Nations Face-Off roster.<\/p>\n

Wallstedt leads the NHL with a .928 save percentage and sits fourth in goals-against average at 2.21. The 23-year-old has a 11-2-3 record with the Wild, while Gustavsson 13-8-4 with a .912 save percentage and a 2.47 GAA.<\/p>\n

Toronto Maple Leafs<\/a> defenceman Oliver Ekman-Larsson<\/a> and St. Louis Blues<\/a> blueliner Philip Broberg<\/a> were named to the team after not making the 4 Nations squad, while Edmonton Oilers<\/a> veteran Mattias Ekholm<\/a> was dropped. Ekman-Larsson won silver with Sweden at Sochi 2014.<\/p>\n

At forward, Gabriel Landeskog<\/a>, who was previously named to the roster with the first six in the summer, Tampa Bay Lightning<\/a> forward Pontus Holmberg<\/a> and San Jose Sharks<\/a> centre Alexander Wennberg<\/a> are also new additions from the 4 Nations team. Victor Arvidsson of the Boston Bruins<\/a> and Winnipeg Jets<\/a> forward Gustav Nyquist<\/a> were dropped from last year\u2019s squad.<\/p>\n

Rasmus Dahlin<\/a>, Victor Hedman<\/a>, Adrian Kempe<\/a>, Landeskog, William Nylander<\/a> and Lucas Raymond<\/a> were previously named to the roster. Hedman remains on the team amid a tight timeline that is expected to see him return in February following elbow surgery. <\/p>\n

This year will mark the 24th time Sweden has competed in the Olympic tournament.
