Overall, this was one of the smaller moves from this season.

While this was a minor move for the Sharks, Grundstrom is certainly proving to be a nice addition to the Flyers’ roster. This is because the 28-year-old forward is thriving in a big way with the Flyers.

After starting the season in the American Hockey League (AHL), Grundstrom has impressed in a big way since being called up to the Flyers’ roster in December.

In 13 games so far this season with the Flyers, Grundstrom has recorded seven goals, eight points, 36 hits, and a plus-5 rating. This includes him scoring four goals over his last five games, so there is no question that the former Sharks forward is feeling it right now.

Grundstrom’s hot start to the 2025-26 season comes after he had back-to-back quiet offensive seasons at the NHL level. In 56 games during his lone season with the Sharks in 2024-25, he had three goals and six assists. This was after he had eight goals and 12 points in 50 games during the 2023-24 season with the Los Angeles Kings. With this, there is no question that he has been a nice surprise for Philly this season.

Grundstrom will now be looking to continue to impress with the Flyers as the season rolls on. Clearly, the change of scenery is benefiting the former Shark.

Back in October, the San Jose Sharks traded forward Carl Grundstrom and defenseman Artem Guryev to the Philadelphia…

[5127
3690,8869,42520,5,145,4,56,20761,519,168,5306,5305,1780
post-388392","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-san-jose-sharks","tag-american-hockey-league","tag-carl-grundstrom","tag-grundstrom","tag-hockey","tag-los-angeles-kings","tag-nhl","tag-philadelphia-flyers","tag-ryan-ellis","tag-san-jose","tag-san-jose-sharks","tag-sanjose","tag-sanjosesharks","tag-sharks
["GET
