Vancouver Canucks General Manager Patrik Allvin has commented on the organization’s decision to lock up forward Linus Karlsson to a multi-year contract extension.<\/p>\n
It was a well deserved honour for Karlsson and while many weren’t sure how he’d adapt to everyday life in the National Hockey League, it’s safe to say that he’s exceeded expectations for the role he’s spent the majority of the season in.<\/p>\n
“Linus has taken a number of big steps since joining our organization. He has worked hard on his game, and we have been impressed with his development both on and off the ice. A leader last year for our Calder Cup Championship team in Abbotsford, Linus used that momentum and experience to solidify a position this year in Vancouver. We look forward to helping him continue to grow moving forward.” Allvin said.<\/p>\n
