{"id":390366,"date":"2026-01-04T15:28:17","date_gmt":"2026-01-04T15:28:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nhl\/390366\/"},"modified":"2026-01-04T15:28:17","modified_gmt":"2026-01-04T15:28:17","slug":"tcnj-field-hockey-jadyn-huff-named-3rd-team-all-american-trentonian","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nhl\/390366\/","title":{"rendered":"TCNJ field hockey Jadyn Huff named 3rd Team All-American \u2013 Trentonian"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Jadyn Huff could not have topped off 2025 any better.<\/p>\n<p>The College of New Jersey junior was named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association All-America team.<\/p>\n<p>Huff, who played at Princeton Day, was a third team selection and it follows being named the New Jersey Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Year and a first team All-Region honoree.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe All-American selection means a lot to me considering how hard I\u2019ve worked throughout my athletic career, both in college and before it,\u2019\u2019 stated Huff. \u201cI also give credit to those around me, my teammates and coaches, who definitely play a part in this accomplishment because none of it would be possible without their support.\u2019\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Huff led the conference and ranked inside the top-10 in all of Division III with 13 assists and finished third in the NJAC with 35 points.<\/p>\n<p>She scored 11 goals on the year and was the only player in the league to reach double figures in both goals and assists. Huff will enter her senior season with career totals of 21 goals and 16 assists.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGetting this level of recognition truly lets me know the hard work being put in is being paid off,\u2019\u2019 said Huff. \u201cThe All-American selection definitely is a motivation tool for moving forward. It makes me want to work harder and also lets me know that it is possible to reach higher achievements for myself.\u2019\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Gomez Hits New Career High<\/p>\n<p>Franki Gomez (Hopewell Valley) poured in a career high 15 points for Rochester in a game against Stevens, but the Ducks escaped with a 67-64 win over Rochester.<\/p>\n<p>Gomez, who is a grad student, is averaging 8.6 points a game and 4.6 rebounds for the Yellowjackets, who are 5-4 on the season.<\/p>\n<p>Rochester is off until January 3rd when it will travel to SUNY Brockport.<\/p>\n<p>***<\/p>\n<p>Men\u2019s Basketball: Andrew DaCosta (Bordentown) had 12 points and Jonathan Desir (Neshaminy) grabbed six rebounds for Cairn in a game with McDaniel \u2026Terrance Jones (Patrick School\/Trenton resident) had nine points, five rebounds and four assists and Eric Oliver-Bush (Roman Catholic\/Trenton resident) had six points for Manhattan in a game with Furman. \u2026Malachi Jeffers-Viera (WW-P North) had 16 points and six rebounds and Braelen Crump (Peddie) had 12 for Kean in a game with Albright. \u2026Amir Lane (Burlington Twp.\/Trenton resident) had 12 points for Georgian Court in a game with Pace. \u2026Brian Herbert (Robbinsville) had 17 points, six assists and five rebounds for Catholic in a win over Wilkes. \u2026Naire Preston (Ewing) had eight points and Darnelle Forrest (Ewing) had seven for Centenary in a loss to St. Joseph\u2019s (LI). \u2026Jaden Hall (Princeton Day) had 11 points and Ray Gooley (Allentown) had eight for Kings in a game with Moravian. \u2026Kabrien Goss (Roman Catholic\/Trenton resident) had 12 points as No. 10 Montclair State defeated SUNY Maritime. \u2026Arterio Williams (Hamilton West) had six points and four rebounds for New Jersey City in a win over Delaware Valley. \u2026Makai Crawford (Pennington) had a team high 13 points for Rutgers-Camden in a game with No. 10 Montclair State.<\/p>\n<p>Men\u2019s Soccer: Ayomide Talabi (Hamilton West) was named the Bulldog of the Week from Dean.<\/p>\n<p>Women\u2019s Basketball: Te\u2019Yala Delfosse (Ewing) had 10 points, seven rebounds and four assists in No. 6 Michigan\u2019s win over Akron. \u2026Taylor Blunt (Peddie) had 11 points in Edinboro\u2019s win over Shepherd. \u2026Ashley Adamson (Steinert) had seven points for Elizabethtown in a game with Dickinson.<\/p>\n<p>Women\u2019s Ice Hockey: Eibhleann Knox (Princeton Day) has four assists for St. John Fisher<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Jadyn Huff could not have topped off 2025 any better.
