VOORHEES, N.J. \u2014 Matvei Michkov missed practice Monday after taking a puck to his left foot two days ago in the Flyers’ 5-2 win over the Oilers<\/a> at Rogers Place.<\/p>\n

Head coach Rick Tocchet said Michkov was being evaluated Monday after telling the Flyers about it in the morning. The Flyers had a day off Sunday following a long road trip.<\/p>\n

We should have a better idea of Michkov’s status Tuesday at morning skate ahead of the Flyers’ home game against the Ducks (7 p.m. ET\/NBCSP).<\/p>\n

It looked like Michkov took the puck to his foot on a third-period power play. With under nine minutes left, Trevor Zegras tried to send a cross-ice pass that inadvertently hit Michkov.<\/p>\n

The 21-year-old winger was able to finish the game. He played 13:37 minutes and had an assist.<\/p>\n

Michkov has not missed a game this season. He has nine goals and 14 assists in 40 games.<\/p>\n

His production and overall play have picked over the last month and a half. Michkov has 14 points (five goals, nine assists) and a plus-4 rating in the last 21 games.<\/p>\n

Despite being behind his pace<\/a> from last season’s impressive rookie year, Michkov is critical to the Flyers, who are 21-12-7 just before the halfway mark.
