According to reports, Washington Capitals forward and Team Canada selection Tom Wilson<\/a> is officially listed as day-to-day after suffering an injury. He won\u2019t play tonight, but it appears the team dodged a big bullet, and there is no fear Wilson won\u2019t be available for the 2026 Winter Olympics. <\/p>\n

As per several updates, nothing overly serious. Wilson (lower body) is day-to-day, said Capitals head coach Spencer Carbery. Aliaksei Protas<\/a> (lower body) skated this morning and is a game-time decision tonight.<\/p>\n

Fortunately, Wilson is going to be fine, and it\u2019s not long-term. He took a big hit from Connor Murphy<\/a> and seems to be injured. While he was, it\u2019s not a bad injury, showing how tough Wilson is. <\/p>\n
