The Carolina Hurricanes (25-14-3) are back home and will take on the Dallas Stars (25-9-8) tonight at the Lenovo Center.<\/p>\n
The Canes are coming off a solid win in New Jersey. They are 4-5-1 in their last 10 games but still sit in first place in the Metropolitan Division. They are one point behind Detroit for first in the East, with two games in hand.<\/p>\n
Tonight will mark the return of Mikko Rantanen, the highly sought after trade acquisition that the Hurricanes front office was unable to sign after they traded for him.<\/p>\n
For one reason or another, the forward did not want to sign in Raleigh. (girlfriend didn\u2019t like it here?) One famous Rod Brind\u2019Amour quote:<\/p>\n

It will be interesting to see the reception that the modest player gets tonight. He currently leads his team with 57 points in 41 games.<\/p>\n
