Radek Faksa is the latest member of the Dallas Stars<\/a> to be named to an Olympic roster. <\/p>\n

The forward was on the list of names released Tuesday to represent the Czech Republic for the Cortina Milan Winter Olympics<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Faksa, who has 15 points (1 goal, 14 assists) in 41 games this season, is the seventh player from Dallas to make an Olympic roster. <\/p>\n

Jake Oettinger<\/a> will represent Team USA and Thomas Harley<\/a> will suit up for Canada, while the Finnish foursome of Mikko Rantanen, Miro Heiskanen, Esa Lindell and Roope Hintz<\/a> will all play for Finland. <\/p>\n

The Czech Republic included three NHL goaltenders on its squad.<\/p>\n

They were Lukas Dostal of the Anaheim Ducks, Karel Vejmelka of the Utah Mammoth and Daniel Vladar of the Philadelphia Flyers.<\/p>\n

Colorado Avalanche center Martin Necas, Boston Bruins right winger David Pastrnak and Vegas Golden Knights center Tomas Hertl were among 12 NHL players on the team which is missing Vancouver Canucks forward Filip Chytil, who has not recovered from a concussion.<\/p>\n

Pastrnak\u2019s teammate Pavel Zacha, Ondrej Palat of the New Jersey Devils and Faksa are the other forwards.<\/p>\n

Only two defensemen on the roster currently play in the NHL \u2014 Radim Gudas from Anaheim and Filip Hronek from Vancouver \u2014 showing the decline of Czech players in North America in recent years.<\/p>\n

Nineteen of the 25-man squad helped the Czechs win the world championship<\/a> two years ago in Prague.<\/p>\n

The Czechs open the Olympic tournament against Canada on Feb. 12. France and Switzerland are also in Group A.<\/p>\n
