{"id":394660,"date":"2026-01-07T01:54:11","date_gmt":"2026-01-07T01:54:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nhl\/394660\/"},"modified":"2026-01-07T01:54:11","modified_gmt":"2026-01-07T01:54:11","slug":"ufa-defenceman-egor-zamula-signs-one-year-deal-with-columbus-blue-jackets","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nhl\/394660\/","title":{"rendered":"UFA defenceman Egor Zamula signs one-year deal with Columbus Blue Jackets"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Unrestricted free agent defenceman <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/player\/egor-zamula\/8481178\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/player\/egor-zamula\/8481178\" target=\"_blank\">Egor Zamula<\/a> is signing a one-year deal with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/team-page\/columbus-blue-jackets\/29\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/team-page\/columbus-blue-jackets\/29\" target=\"_blank\">Columbus Blue Jackets<\/a>, according to his agent Dan Milstein. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Zamula cleared unconditional waivers on Tuesday and his contract was terminated by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/team-page\/pittsburgh-penguins\/5\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/team-page\/pittsburgh-penguins\/5\" target=\"_blank\">Pittsburgh Penguins<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Zamula was originally acquired by the Penguins from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/team-page\/philadelphia-flyers\/4\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/team-page\/philadelphia-flyers\/4\" target=\"_blank\">Philadelphia Flyers<\/a> on Dec. 31 in exchange for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/player\/philip-tomasino\/8481577\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/player\/philip-tomasino\/8481577\" target=\"_blank\">Philip Tomasino<\/a>.
