He made a ridiculous play to pass to Freddy Gaudreau at the blue line and then slice his way through four defenders, suddenly getting behind all of them at once. He kind of gave me a breakaway, and I just got it up, and it went in.\u201d<\/p>\n Coach Lane Lambert also had some nice words about Catton when I asked him what it meant to see his young rookie break through.<\/p>\n \u201cI thought it was awesome,\u201d Lambert said. \u201cI\u2019ve said a few times\u2026 that once he scores, I think he\u2019ll score a few. With seven seconds left, McCann whistled a one-timer off the glass that nearly went all the way out of the offensive zone. But Vince Dunn saved it at the blue line and fed McCann again higher in the zone. This time, McCann\u2019s shot was perfectly placed, and it appeared to beat the horn, even though the green end-of-period light had come on behind Swayman, not the red goal light.<\/p>\n MCCANN CAN! \ud83d\udea8 <\/p>\n It’s a power-play goal with 0.5 seconds left on the clock!
