Head coach Craig Berube<\/a> revealed some positive news on Saturday morning regarding injured goalie Anthony Stolarz<\/a>. <\/p>\n

The 31-year-old, who hasn\u2019t played since Nov. 11 due to an upper-body injury, is \u201ccoming along well,\u201d Berube told the media. <\/p>\n

Stolarz took shots from team staff members ahead of Saturday\u2019s morning skate as the Maple Leafs prepare to take on the visiting Vancouver Canucks<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Berube added Stolarz has been skating with the Leafs for a \u201cbit here now\u201d and expects him to join the team on their upcoming four-game road trip which begins Monday against the first-place Colorado Avalanche<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it\u2019s close to where he\u2019ll be with us full-time,\u201d said Berube.<\/p>\n

Anthony Stolarz is “coming along well” said #Leafs<\/a> coach Craig Berube. He has been skating “for a bit here now and I think it’s close to where he’ll be with us full-time.” Will he join the team on upcoming road trip? “I do believe he’ll be on the trip with us.”<\/p>\n

Stolarz struggled in 13 games before going down with his injury, posting a 3.51 goals-against average and a .884 save percentage. <\/p>\n

A second-round pick in 2012, Stolarz signed a four-year, $15 million contract with the Leafs this past summer.<\/p>\n

After struggling for a good portion of the season, the Maple Leafs have turned things around as of late with six wins in their last eight games.<\/p>\n

During the #Leafs<\/a> morning William Nylander ran into Berube. The coach didn’t flinch.
Berube said “I’m a little overweight.” Berube laughed before adding, “He’s told me to let up on him.”<\/p>\n

They sit fifth in the Atlantic Division with a 21-15-7 record.<\/p>\n

Forward William Nylander<\/a> will return to the lineup on Saturday after missing the last six games with a lower-body injury while defenceman Jake McCabe<\/a> is a game-time decision. <\/p>\n

No decision made on Tanev<\/p>\n

Injured defenceman Chris Tanev<\/a> remains out indefinitely with the groin injury he suffered on Dec. 28 against the Detroit Red Wings<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Berube told the media on Saturday that no decision has been made on whether or not Tanev needs surgery. <\/p>\n

\u201cNot yet. I\u2019m sure that\u2019ll be soon here about what he\u2019s going to do,\u201d said Berube. <\/p>\n

The 36-year-old Toronto native has two assists in 11 games this season, his second with the Maple Leafs and 16th in the NHL. <\/p>\n

Tanev is in the second season of a six-year, $27 million contract. <\/p>\n
