The Carolina Hurricanes<\/a> have activated defenceman Jaccob Slavin<\/a> off injured reserve.<\/p>\n The 31-year-old has appeared in five games with the Hurricanes this season (recording zero points) while missing 39 games due to injury. <\/p>\n The Denver, Col. native has posted 55 goals and 299 points in 750 career NHL games with Carolina.
