\u2014 Ian Oland (@ianoland) January 11, 2026<\/a><\/p>\n International sports media, including Barstool Sports and Fox Sports Australia, had shared footage of the fight by Sunday morning.\u00a0<\/p>\n The club, based out of the Regency Sportsrink in East Hempfield Township, has been fielding youth hockey teams for over 30 years with age groups ranging from 4 to 18, according to their website.\u00a0<\/p>\n On Sunday, the club issued a statement via social media, stating that the incident was now under an internal review.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cAt this time, we believe it is important to allow this process to take place before drawing conclusions,\u201d club officials wrote in their statement. \u201cWe appreciate the patience and understanding of our families, partners, and community as we work through this matter.\u201d<\/p>\n The Atlantic Amateur Hockey Association, the governing body for the regional affiliate of USA Hockey, said it was aware that an incident took place during Saturday\u2019s intermission game and would be investigating the matter. The Atlantic Amateur Hockey Association called it a staged fight.<\/p>\n Atlantic Amateur Hockey Association officials said disciplinary action would be taken against the players and team officials involved in the fight and that the intermission game had not been sanctioned by their organization or USA Hockey.<\/p>\n
