The San Jose Sharks are getting reinforcements back against the Vegas Golden Knights on Sunday, with Michael Misa<\/a> and John Klingberg<\/a> returning.<\/p>\n

Misa will play on the Sharks\u2019 third line as the center, not the wing, and Ryan Reaves<\/a> will be a healthy scratch. Reaves is confirmed to be healthy per Sharks coach Ryan Warsofsky. His absence from the lineup is a coach\u2019s decision. Klingberg will be activated from injured reserve. Nick Leddy<\/a> will exit the Sharks\u2019 lineup as a healthy scratch.<\/p>\n

Misa in for Reaves. Misa will play C<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s gotta play,\u201d Warsofsky said of Misa. \u201cJust the decision we made.\u201d<\/p>\n

Adam Gaudette will slide down to the San Jose Sharks\u2019 fourth line, most likely in Reaves\u2019 vacated right-wing spot.<\/p>\n

Misa hasn\u2019t played an NHL game since Nov. 1 against the Colorado Avalanche. Misa suffered an ankle injury during a pregame skate on Nov. 5 and then played for Team Canada at the 2026 IIHF World Juniors<\/a>. Misa told reporters on Friday that the Sharks informed him that he would remain in the NHL for the rest of the season.<\/p>\n

\u201cPace of the game. I\u2019d like to see his pace up. See him be able to skate, not think as much,\u201d Warsofsky said about what he\u2019s looking for from Misa. \u201cHis brain is really smart. He can make the reads with and without the puck. [I] want to see him doing it with some pace.\u201d<\/p>\n

As for Klingberg, Sunday\u2019s game is the first since New Year\u2019s Eve. The San Jose Sharks scored four power-play goals<\/a> against the Dallas Stars on Saturday, meaning Klingberg won\u2019t slot back in on the top unit right away.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was playing some pretty good hockey for us before he got injured,\u201d Warsofsky said. \u201cHis [good] play came from moving pucks and putting pucks to the cage and being very reliable all over the ice.\u201d<\/p>\n
