The Boston Bruins dominated the New York Rangers on Saturday for an emphatic 10-2 win at home.<\/p>\n

Boston trailed 1-0 early, but the Bruins then scored the next six goals. In the win, both Pavel Zacha and Marat Khusnutdinov recorded hat tricks, which were the first of their careers.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a good feeling,\u201d Zacha said<\/a> on Saturday, as seen on NESN\u2019s postgame coverage. \u201cI am happy that it was during a game that we had a great game as a team. That\u2019s why it feels so much better. I think it makes everyone feel good to have a game like this. Win at home, especially.\u201d<\/p>\n

Khusnutdinov echoed Zacha\u2019s words as he said it was an awesome day and one he\u2019s going to remember.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is awesome,\u201d Khusnutdinov said. \u201cLucky day for me. Thank you, partners. Just keep going. It is a really fun game. Great fights, big saves, two hat tricks. It\u2019s a fun game for the fans.\u201d<\/p>\n

It was a solid effort from the Bruins, and head coach Marco Sturm believes it\u2019s something the team can build off of.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\u201cI think the guys should enjoy the day,\u201d Sturm said<\/a>. \u201cThey played a hell of a good hockey game. \u201cForget about how high we scored, but we played really, really good. They should feel really good about it.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Bruins will return to the ice on Sunday at home when they host the Pittsburgh Penguins. Boston is now 24-19-2 and is two points back of a playoff spot.<\/p>\n
