The Edmonton Oilers<\/a> activated goaltender Tristan Jarry<\/a> and defenceman Jake Walman<\/a> off of long-term injured reserve on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Edmonton placed forward Adam Henrique<\/a> on LTIR and changed goalie Connor Ingram<\/a> from an emergency recall to the regular recall in corresponding moves.<\/p>\n

Jarry was placed on injured reserve on Dec. 19, one week after he was acquired by the Oilers in a trade with the Pittsburgh Penguins<\/a>. The 30-year-old was injured in his third game with Edmonton, against the Boston Bruins<\/a> on Dec. 18.<\/p>\n

For the season, Jarry has a 16-12-3 record with a .906 save percentage and a 2.73 goals-against average with the two teams.<\/p>\n

Walman, who has been sidelined since Nov. 20, has three goals and 10 points in 17 games this season. He was acquired by Edmonton from the San Jose Sharks<\/a> at the trade deadline last winter and was a key contributor as the team reached the Stanley Cup Final for the second straight year.<\/p>\n

The Oilers have leaned on Calvin Pickard<\/a> and Ingram in Jarry\u2019s absence. Pickard has a 5-6-2\u00a0record\u00a0with a .871 save percentage and a 3.68 GAA this season. Ingram has a 4-2-1 record with a 2.70 GAA and a .904 save percentage in his first season with the team.<\/p>\n

Henrique was injured last week in a win over the Nashville Predators<\/a> and will now be sidelined until after the Olympic break. He has two goals and 10 points in 43 games this season.<\/p>\n

The Oilers will face the Predators again on Tuesday as the team looks to improve on their 23-16-7 record, currently good for second in the Pacific Division, just one point back of the Vegas Golden Knights<\/a>.<\/p>\n
