Toronto Maple Leafs<\/a> winger Matthew Knies<\/a> was absent from Thursday\u2019s morning skate ahead of their game against the Vegas Golden Knights<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Viewers in the Leafs region can watch the game on TSN4, TSN.ca and the TSN App with coverage beginning at 9pm ET\/6pm PT.<\/a><\/p>\n

The 23-year-old American has 12 goals and 26 assists over 43 games this season, his fourth in Toronto. <\/p>\n

In other lineup news, forward Nick Robertson, who missed Tuesday\u2019s blowout loss to the Utah Mammoth<\/a> after blocking a shot against the Colorado Avalanche<\/a> a night prior, returned to the ice on Thursday\u2019s for Toronto\u2019s skate. <\/p>\n

Joseph Woll<\/a> was in the starter\u2019s net. <\/p>\n

This will the Maple Leafs\u2019 first game against winger Mitch Marner, who joined Vegas this summer after an up-and-down nine-year run in Toronto.<\/a> <\/p>\n

Marner and the Golden Knights are in Toronto next Friday. <\/p>\n

The Maple Leafs used a recent 10-game point streak to jump back into the playoff hunt and currently sit one point behind the Buffalo Sabres<\/a> and Boston Bruins<\/a> for the wild-card spots in the Eastern Conference. <\/p>\n
