In one of the most improbable match-ups since David smote Goliath, a miniature deer appeared to get the better of a fully grown rhino in a head-to-head at a Polish zoo.<\/p>\n
A video of the tiny muntjac stag facing down the 1.7-tonne rhino — and seemingly winning — broke the internet.<\/p>\n
“Someone probably forgot to look in the mirror this morning,” Wroclaw zoo joked on its Facebook page after the deer got territorial with a thick-skinned neighbour nearly 120 times his size.<\/p>\n
At first the female rhino called Maruska appeared amused by the deer’s cheek at taking her on.\u00a0<\/p>\n
But by the end of the clip, the muntjac was chasing her around the enclosure they share.<\/p>\n
Despite muntjacs being “very territorial”, the two species get along well and have lived happily together for years,\u00a0zookeeper Maciej Okupnik told local media.<\/p>\n
“This time, Daddy deer got a little carried away by his hormones,” he added, with the zoo praising the way the female rhino dealt with his hilariously delusional machismo.<\/p>\n

A new alert app called “Are You Dead?” for people who live alone quickly became the most downloaded in the country.<\/p>\n
More and more people in China are living alone as marriage rates fall and the number of elderly empty-nesters grow.<\/p>\n
The app’s blunt name and ghost icon clearly did not put them off. “Are You Dead?” sends an email to an emergency contact if you don’t check in every two days.<\/p>\n
But it was too much for IT worker Yaya Song. “If I wanted my grandparents to download this app, I probably wouldn’t be able to bring myself to say the name,” she said.<\/p>\n
And she was not alone. With the name making headlines across the world, the app’s makers decided to ditch the catchy moniker for the duller “Demumu” for its next release.<\/p>\n

The famously laidback Hollywood star Matthew McConaughey is trying to patent his voice and image to protect himself from AI, including his famous catchphrase “all right, all right, all right” from the iconic slacker movie “Dazed and Confused”.<\/p>\n
