Dan Vladar won’t play Saturday afternoon when the Flyers host the Rangers, according to a source.<\/p>\n

However, per a source, the team’s No. 1 goaltender is being considered day to day with his undisclosed injury<\/a>.<\/p>\n

That’s good news for a Flyers team that has been led by Vladar’s play in net. The free-agent signing<\/a> has a 2.46 goals-against average and .905 save percentage in 28 games. He already has a career-high 16 wins.<\/p>\n

The 28-year-old had exit the Flyers’ 5-2 loss Wednesday night<\/a> to the Sabres after the first period.<\/p>\n

The Flyers are trying to snap a five-game losing streak Saturday as they welcome New York (1 p.m. ET\/NBCSP). They’ve been outscored 25-9 over the season-worst 0-4-1 skid.<\/p>\n

Head coach Rick Tocchet will hold his pregame media availability at 10:30 a.m. ET. We’ll know then if it’ll be Samuel Ersson or Aleksei Kolosov in net for the Flyers.<\/p>\n
