Temperatures will moderate some on Saturday before arctic air invades again for next week.<\/p>\n
On Saturday, we could have some snow showers around at times. The snow will not add up to much, but a coating to an inch or two will be possible.<\/p>\n
Temperatures on Saturday will reach the mid-30s for most of Western New York.<\/p>\n
Heading into Sunday we could see some lake-effect snow start to develop off Lake Erie. We will be watching this closely to see if it could lead to heavier accumulating snow Sunday night into Monday.<\/p>\n
Temperatures on Sunday will be turning colder. Highs will be dropping into the 20s on the backside of the weekend.<\/p>\n
We will continue to watch for pockets and periods of heavier lake-effect snow into Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Temperatures will only reach the lower 20s for Monday afternoon.<\/p>\n
The coldest day next week will be Tuesday. This is when highs will only reach the low to mid-10s.<\/p>\n
